Pleasant Point Christmas Parade

Every year on the last Friday before Christmas the whole town turns out for the parade. The numbers are swell ed by many from the towns and country side around us. The main street is closed to traffic with police in attendance.
Floats are there from all the community and from the surrounding farm districts Some are serious floats but many are hilarious, taking the mickey out of the Government and also local politics. Anything that is topical at the time and tonight was no exception. Heaps of laughs
Vintage cars and traction engines are always part of it and last but best as far as the children are concerned is the Santa float with lollies getting thrown out.
