Crazy day
It was one of our "absolutely nuts but totally wonderful" days today. Started out with the usual piano, jobs etc plus packing. We headed off for the first performance of her school nativity. She was a narrator and had a sizeable number of lines. She did brilliantly - so confident going up to the microphone. And she absolutely performed her heart out in the songs and dances. She'd been put centre front and I understood why. But of course we know she loves to perform. Granny and Grandad had come today so she loved that and hammed it up extra for them.
As soon as she'd done, we took her home and got finished with the packing before saying goodbye to my parents. Katie and I were Center Parcs bound!! We found Max, Edie, Myles et al in the Jardin de Sport & had a spot of lunch before we headed to the adventure playground. It was very soon time to go to the winter wonderland for the afternoon's magic. The children absolutely loved it. Myles was completely enthralled by "Ho ho ho" this year, it was adorable. And we got a mad but brilliant photo of all 4 children with all 12 accompanying adults.
We then went for an epically long swim, which is always incredibly fun. The day was topped off with a family meal at the American Diner. Katie and I drove home at 10.30, very happily tired out!
