Life through the lens...

Classical beauty.

Wine tasting in Chateauneuf-du-Pape we came across this group of Englishmen , (and women) doing the same thing at one of the vineyards, but what style!

I know very little about cars, but this group of Bugatties were fantastic!
Just had to take a photo, but didn't get chance to have a chat as we were late for out next tasting, and MrC came back looking for me. (holding things up as usual, taking photos!) Found out that they were from England and that's all.

Bugatti is a French car company founded in 1909 by Ettore Bugatti and known for the beauty of their designs. They won the first ever Monaco Grand Prix.
When Ettore died in 1947 it was the end of the marque as there was no successor to lead the factory (his son Jean died in 1939)
The company struggled and released one last car in the 1950's. Today the name is owned by VW who revived it as a builder of limited production exclusive sports cars.

We had four very good wine tastings at different caves. Tasted some amazing wines. Some containing a blend of all 13 grape varieties which are allowed in the making of CNDP.
Had a wonderful lunch.
This time we bought wines by the bottle, (slightly more expensive than the boxed wine!) To save for special occasions!

Another hot sunny day. Over 32c.
