Today's the day ......................... to speak too soon

Oh dear - after all I said yesterday, there were lots of new flood warnings out today for Cumbria.

An anxious watch was being kept on the River Kent which was up again at dangerously high levels.  It was more than a little scary to see the vast volume of water surging along at such a speed - and only just managing to get under the bridges of the town.

The forces of nature are unstoppable ....................
