WFH; mine in the morning. Mostly catching up on 2 days back to back visits; so plenty admin and reporting to do.

At lunchtime, pausing to grab walnuts, I headed up the hill to WHF from hers;
After work I cooked chicken in walnut and pomegranate stew; a sticky chocolaty chewy thing with burst of sweetness from pomegranate seeds; and we wrapped presents for hours; chatting as we did so.

Drama about bus vs taxi abated almost instantly; I was so happy but couldn't show it.

Late home; a bottle of wine to the good. On a school night? Oooft...
