So they went off to school with a spring in their step. Despite it being the deep midwinter. A last half day before school kicked out for summer. Or summat similar. 

We walked up on a cold morning; but managed to dodge the showers. I went home, WFH for the morning; shifted the sludge from my workflow and went and got them late lunchtime. 
I did a bit more work; mostly it consisted of setting my out of office autoreply on the e mail, though. 

Come 4 I was done; we cooked toad in the hole; watched some gentle TV and now only 3 more sleeps. 

I'm sipping a malt right now. Lots still to do, but getting there.
