Water, water everywhere.....

This was the scene in Bruntsfield this afternoon.....pissing torrential rain, thunder, and not a soul around, apart from a mother and toddler in our shop.

You know what they say about running water having an 'effect' on you? Well, rain of biblical proportions apparently worked the same way on the child - all over my newly washed floor. And I ain't talking just a dribble here - I'm talking torrents! Gallons even!

I'm sick to death of water today.....though I may force myself to have some in the form of tonic along with a wee (no pun intended) gin!
