Signs of Spring?

This is a shot taken outdoors.  The plant hasn't been forced or "brought on" indoors and it wasn't taken several months ago!  We have guests in the Lodge for New Year  and due to the day Christmas and New Year fall on the change over day isn't the usual Saturday.  SO as we drew up at the lodge I spotted this in our neighbours garden.  There also two buds nearly ready to open. 

What crazy weather we are having!   Spring flowers open just after the equinox, storms coming so thick and fast (we have reached names beginning with F) and more than a months  rain in 24 hours.

I grew up calling these flowers Narcissus and the ones with the long trumpet Daffodils now I know they are both Narcissus and both Daffodils.
