Celebrating America's Independence

We decorated the backyard with mini-flags for our Independence Day celebration, but Chloe decided she wanted to be a flag carrier and have a parade. She walked right over to the garden where we had placed eight of these flags, put her choppers around the little stick, and unashamedly started the parade. Max and Mitzi weren't very happy when Chloe wouldn't share, but she wasn't about to give them her find!

While 42 million Americans have made this a day of travel to get to a celebration, for us, this has been a quiet relaxed holiday at home and it has been good with breakfast eaten on the patio and a barbecue for dinner and then a dip into the pool. Now the community fireworks are about to happen.
