Not quite right

Something seems not quite right about this situation.....

Fabulous day today. We left pretty early and went on the bus to our old village. We had a walk round, Katie and I. We went to feed the ducks and Katie remembered exactly the right way to go from where we used to live. After our walk we met Julie and baby Olivia. we all went to toddler group. Its the first time Katie has been back to Montessori toddlers in a long time. It took a little while for her to get back to knowing where she was, what she would normally do. Very quickly she got stuck in at the painting table and very quickly the leader remembered to go and get Katie-aprons. Too slowly for Katie's clothes, mind! Mummy was very pleased to get snuggles from Olivia while Katie played.

After Montessori, we went to the library and all the staff were very pleased to see her as it had been a while since we'd been back there too. Since we got home, her and LittleFriend have played together all afternoon. They played inside for a little while but spent most of the time in their back garden and our front garden. During which time Katie decided to get into LittleFriend's walker. She then used it as a scooter too. They played at the swimming pond, although only LittleFriend went in the pond. They then spent an hour doing water art on the paths with art brushes, sponges, rollers and bowls and had a wonderful time splashing and jumping and playing.

While they were out, GrannyGrandad pulled up and joined the fun and are joining us for tea.
