Clepsydra
Posh name for a water clock. This was one of the wonders of medieval Fes, currently (possibly) under restoration. This article, published in 1990, suggests it will be working within a year. Even by Moroccan standards, it is difficult to see that a year can be stretched to 25! Wikipaedia suggests it was under reconstruction in 2004.
We had a guided tour of Fes today, and were shown many sights, along with being helped to spend our money on various items we may or may not need. There are plenty of things we can do over the next couple of days, before our train back to Marrakesh.
