Diary of an Edinburgher

By LadyMarchmont

Cold day!

A morning visitor got us up and organised fairly early. There was a frost for the first time this winter, so JR was pleased she did not have an early start for work. We took Archie up the Hill after our visitor left, and it was surprisingly lovely - sunny and cold, but no wind. Archie had his warm coat on, much to his embarrassment, but he soon forgot about it when he was charging up and down the hill.

JR went to her favourite supermarket for some essentials, and of course some non-essentials (treats!). I watched another episode of the Czech series on my iPad, still unable to get it to show on the TV. I need my techy pal, J, to come and help me...

We then settled down with the fire on to watch Mad Men. We're on Season 6, but some episodes are a mystery with so many characters we're constantly asking, 'Who's that?' We want to get the whole 7 Seasons finished so that we can concentrate on the amazing offerings of Walter...

A fairly lazy, but most pleasant, day. As usual...
