Sky light....

When I went out the door this morning something  just didn't feel right. No rain ! A touch of frost,which turned to a touch of snow tonight.
A day spent mucking out,bedding and feeding cattle. The vet out at a cow that's been off the rails for a few days. Not sure what's wrong,but he stomach tubed her with fluids,gave her some Metacalm and we will see what she does.
The shed boys made a start stripping the old asbestos sheeting off the lambing shed next door. It is getting replaced by fibre cement as the asbestos was put up in the early 1960's and is well past it's best. It is costing more to dispose of the old asbestos sheets than the cost of the new ones. It all has to be done by the book !
Little Miss at a birthday party,so had to trail into town to pick her up tonight. To think, we used to go out into town for pleasure ! Aye,getting old !
