Dramatic dusk

Funny old sky after a very damp day.  It was raining quite heavily when I dropped by my favourite coffee shop late afternoon, yet by the time I left I was greeted with this skyscape.
Still very heavy cloud overhead, but looking to the west, the appearance of almost totally clear skies, perhaps heralding the likelihood of a fine evening and a clear and dry night.
But  the dramatic picture it presented of  leafless trees silhouetted against the changing shades of cloud with the hint of late afternoon sun in the distance alerted my artistic instincts.

Though I am quite sure the guy sat in his car parked next to mine must have thought me bonkers as I walked through the car park every so often pausing and pointing my iPhone towards  the sky.
