Edible?

Took my macro lens for a walk in the woods by Crummock Water today.  Rather damp under foot and all very green apart from things like these fungi.  They are part of a large clump we found as we were wandering back down to the Water.  I was quite pleased with the focus of these although some of the other shots were decidedly unfocussed.

Blipmeet tomorrow 11 am at the Theatre by the Lake in Keswick.  Looking forward to that.  Hope the weather isn't too bad.

We went into Keswick this afternoon and it was quieter than it's been when we've come up previously.  Had a gentle stroll around looking for heavy duty gloves for Iceland and grippy things to go on walking boots.  Gloves (Mittens actually) were got, SHH nearly didn't notice that I slipped in some mittens that you can fold the finger bits backwards on as recommended by Technophobe !

Thinking about setting up a Dickens challenge for Blippers in February...
