Witch Hazel Beauty

Most of today has been very grey and very wet.  This afternoon, I wandered off down to the woods where there is a section of walled garden that has been a nursery in the past and is now in a state of "Flux", waiting for someone to do something with it.  I was so pleased to see this beautiful splash of vibrant colour, it really made me feel more cheerful!

There were also catkins around which made me think of spring and remember the nature walks I used to go on from Primary School to this area.  Hope you like the catkins in the extras and that this splash of colour cheers you up too!  (If you need cheering up of course!)
