Frost Patterns

It was just so refreshing today to get up to heavy frost after days of rain. True it soon clouded over and there was some drizzle around this afternoon but not before I had been able to capture some of the beautiful frost patterns on my car as my blip reflects. Definitely worth seeing large and you have to beef up the contrast, clarity and sharpening in order to see the intricate patterns revealed in an image. 

There are times when the frost appears to give a uniform cover which is less interesting unless  viewed in super macro and other times when these lovely swirls appear. I can only suppose that it is the wind action that causes it.
