Today was all about the Mossley Monsoon.

The River Tame was as high as I've ever seen it - the girls and I went down after school and stood on the bridge. The river is usually very shallow and slow moving at this point so we were all a bit freaked out by the power and force of the water.

It was a good day today...we didn't flood, the rain went away and it turned into a lovely evening.

Looking forward to tomorrow afternoon adventures.

A Manchester day date...other towns were available but due to the awful weather we decided to stick nearby. Braving the Manc rain is preferable to the rain in unknown Northern towns
