Happy Birthday Chris

As you can see from the candle on his birthday cake this fine gentleman was 70 today. We joined his family and a few select friends to help him celebrate this milestone. And a very pleasant evening it was too. Isn't it amazing what the iPhone camera can do in low light conditions?

Today we also had all the felt on our flat roofs replaced, something we've been planning to do for a year or so. Now we're all watertight for the next 10 years at least and can truthfully answer questions about flat roofs when renewing our house insurance.

Apart from that we had another good walk into town, I bought a new pair of running shoes for £18.00 from Sports Direct, allegedly reduced by 80% from £79.00.
