Blue skies ...

...and very icy pavements.

Our first coffee morning of the new year at church today and we thought the ice might put the older folks off coming out but it was busy as ever.

I won bottle of wine on the raffle and bought some chocolate tiffin so we're all set for Saturday night!

Beautiful blue skies accompanied the cold and I crunched around the frost covered grass in the garden to get this shot of the Hamamelis against the blue. It's golden colour is almost glowing in the sun. I also found some Forythia in flower.

Good to hear there have been some new pledges. I'm sure more like this will help the cause for the Fab Four. Please consider pledging if you haven't done so yet.
