Garden birds

Well, at least it flew over the house. Days seeing a White-tailed Eagle are always good ones especially when you are standing on your doorstep.
Otherwise the day disappeared at a lunch party for a Grimsay friends birthday. 
We went around at 1 pm and were still there at 8 pm.
Very genial and fairly alcoholic. Not perhaps the best preparation for a few days teaching starting tomorrow.
