A productive day

Ages ago I signed up to complete a shore line count of birds and had been putting it off with the wind and rain of late. Today however dawned calm and clear and so off we set. It ended up being a 12km walk counting all the birds we saw. 
There weren't that many but it was good to have a real purpose to the walk. As the day went on, the clouds built up but there was still a real clarity to the air.
Today we completed three of the legs I have said I will do - two more to go.
