Fame at last

For Christmas Tricia kindly gave me a book - "Scotland - Mapping the Islands" which is a subject on which I can, and probably do, bore for Africa, or more appropriately Scotland. The lead author is someone I have corresponded with about maps and the like.
I enjoyed the book and then on reading the further reading section was totally surprised to come upon the extract above - almost a published historian now! 
Not sure that being sandwiched between a piece on "Penis Island" and a book first published in 1892 puts one at the cutting edge of historical research but at least one is there.
Curiously I have been spending a fair amount of time over the last few days looking at more maps. The resources available on-line never cease to amaze......
