Outside In

These beautiful roses are flowering profusely around an archway in our garden just now but with the wind battering away and the rain pouring down I'm not sure how long they will last so I decided to bring some of them in.

Chilled out day at home today. A quick walk along to the library this morning and then some friends came for lunch, bringing with them the most amazing home-made profiteroles, and stayed to play for most of the rest of the day. They were about to leave when we decided to watch Puss in Boots (ordered from the library ages ago and picked up after a long waiting list today) and since their little one, Poppy, was keen to watch it too, we made a big vat of popcorn and all hid inside away from the rain.
