Soft and prickly

Bit how I felt today. With a day out planned tomorrow, I needed to clear the decks, so finished off a document this morning and, despite irritating technical hitches, sent it on its way. Also set up a means of getting the cash out of all this work without paying for wire transfers. Totaling up my account it looks like I have nearly enough to.... well, to replace the black ink in my printer which seems to have run out again. Small steps...

Some grumpiness from me at the lack of time to be in the garden, but I made up for it a little with a half hour digging stuff up after dinner (groan, indigestion) so now we have potatoes for salad tomorrow and some garlic for, well, something.

There is very much backblipping from some late night catching up yesterday. It's mostly a tale of rain and sunshine. And tonight - after a scorching day - we have the mother of all storms raging overhead. Bit scary really given that our roof is the highest thing around...
