Got around to "planting" a christmas present on Sunday.

Instructions: fill bottom of jar with pebbles. Add water just below surface of pebbles. Place corms on top of pebbles. Place in cool dark place for 8-10 weeks. 

That's it. I took it out today for a blip, and then back into the darkness. 

I have put an alert on my phone to remind me to look in the dark place and take this out in mid March. Four purple crocuses should then emerge, with the bottom of the jar a tangle of roots. Hopefully.
