Jack Frost

I love winter's days like this, sunny and bright with a crunchy frost underfoot. I was outside in my pj's kneeling on a large plastic bag taking these frost images early this morning! I liked the extra of frost on some tiny mushrooms, they look like sugared pancakes!

The steroids have made a significant difference and Luke is feeling much better. His tonsils and glands are not as swollen and even his face is not so puffy anymore. He is still sleeping a lot, but is eating better and I think by Sunday he will be okay to go back to university but to stay off sport and alcohol for a further two weeks. As glandular fever affects the liver, alcohol should be avoided. Apparently bit affects one in four people, so I wondered why they have not developed a vaccine against it - but 
 it seems that they have! 

I spent most of the day doing admin and only went out to the bank and to get some more groceries. Luke is resting and enjoying watching TV - he must be getting bored as he watched a bowls competition on TV today!
