A slice of Lesley's life

Frosty Morning

Lovely walk to school for me, Anna and Carlos. Slightly freaky walk for Albi who experienced being scared for the first time in her young life. We met a Newfoundland who I think Albi thought was actually a bear. Cowered down, tail between her legs and then decided the best response was barking furiously. Seemed an interesting choice and fortunately the Newfoundland took it in its stride. And we managed to drag the freaked out Albi away without incident.

Did some interesting preliminary work on a new project which is possibly ridiculous, quite exciting and overwhelming in fairly equal measure. And some actual work on a couple of existing projects.

Jackson's had a tough couple of days so we decided to take a break from the tank. Though it did mean he was able to have another physio session which seemed to go pretty well.

And I successfully challenged a couple of the kids' aversions...J's to new things - the initially suspicious looking fish-pie was apparently actually quite nice and A's to change - I moved the furniture around in the living room which caused an unexpectedly strong but fortunately brief reaction.
