Incoming Tide at Marahau

This afternoon friend Rachel returned from Marlborough to join us again at Kaiteriteri. We spent some time at Breaker Bay where the water was warm and perfect for swimming.
Emily's dad, Steve and his brother arrived tonight. So we had a full house/caravan site. The men and Emily are to go hiking and camping in the Abel Tasman National Park tomorrow. Rachel and I missed out on the fun of watching them sort and pack their gear. She and I drove over to the Park Cafe to meet up with Alex and Hannah for a meal and hilarious evening together. Afterwards Rachel and I walked a little way into the Abel Tasman to photograph the wetlands as the tidal waters crept in. Not the best light for photography but I find the wetland area quite fascinating.
