Feather in the grass

I saw three Kea fly and land in a tree on the farm this afternoon.  I stood there watching them, until they flew and landed in a nearby paddock.  I tried to get close enough to get a photo, but no, they decided to fly off in another direction.

I was in a bit of a dilemma then, as with the Kea not keen to be photographed, I had lost the opportunity to get a blip.  Looking around, I saw this feather in the grass.  I got down and laid in the paddock, but the feather was moving in the wind, and proved difficult to photograph.  This is the best that I got.

The weekend is here......and I'm up early in the morning to milk.  It will be an early night for me!
