Wet and windy...

My training plan said it was a 4 n half mile run today. So in the driving rain and v strong winds L and I ran 4.7miles through this still very lovely scenery despite the weather. We returned with no need of exfoliation for our faces as the rain felt like stones against our faces!
Spent some time working once I'd warmed up. Luckily D and I were invited to a friends house while we waited for C to come out of school. I found out all about the Up Helly Aa festival as the friend is from Shetland. It looks lots of fun - C has declared he would like to go there to dress up as a Viking.
A is back from his business trip this eve so bedtime is a bit overexcited.,..
