Manhole

Took some time off for myself today for hair and beauty treatments. Felt the epitome of a Cheshire Housewife. Obligatory new Barnet selfie.

I even had to visit a lady who had been recommended for a procedure (I shall not disclose) in Prestbury. She had a huge house, private gates, Dalmations and a chef working away in the kitchen. It was surreal.

Over to our lovely neighbour's house for pizza and lots of laughter whilst our girls played next door.

Some men from United Utilities turned up in high vis jackets outside to unblock another neighbour's drain. They knocked on her door. She is brilliant in English but it's not her first language. When they asked if they could open up her manhole in her garden she was perplexed and asked for my help to translate. We were in fits of laughter afterwards as she explained what she thought a manhole might be! So funny!
