Veltheimia Capensis

Again - not swearing and not the name of my back problem! I thought a hot bath had soothed it away - but by the afternoon it had returned and spread round to my front as well. Well at least that's my one bath a year done with! Hopefully tomorrow it will have eased as it's my drawing class and I promised I'd make a Cherry Cake!
This is just one of these bulbs I have around the house - they just keep producing babies and flower once a good size. They have very long, wide,  wavy edged leaves which bend and snap if I don't keep an eye on the watering! This one seems to have an early flower, there is always one! It's conical flower opens from the bottom up. It's South African in origin and is also known as the Sand Lily!
