Snowy Scalloway

It's still cold and snowy.  There had been more snow showers last night but none today.  The sunny morning soon faded to an overcast day but fairly calm.

Work in the museum has been fairly quiet today, it actually seemed like the whole of Lerwick was fairly quiet today.  I had a good walk around Lerwick at lunchtime and hardly a sole or car moving, well the odd few :)  After work I rushed down to see granny at the care centre.  She was fine today and fairly chatty.  A few hours to myself and also walkies with Sammy and then off to the pub for my shift. 

This morning it was bright and sunny in Scalloway.  A lovely golden light cast over the landscape as the sun was getting higher.  There was still a dusting of snow in places too but think it's back to normal tomorrow, gales and rain.  Looking across Scalloway harbour from New Street.
