This little treasure....

Cleaning our room today, I moved a chair to find this chap lurking underneath - and made a very speedy exit to find someone far more suited to dealing with it - clearly this needed a man to deal with it and my father in law happily stepped up to the mark.  He did comment that at well over an inch long in the body, it was quite a large one...  My husband was slightly less sympathetic and simply said that it had large claws and a thin tail, so not much to worry about.  

In other news - today has been brilliant, 38mls of rain and cool(er) weather. The boy and I had a lovely long walk this morning and got back just as the rain started, we then had hours of great thunder and lightening.  The cooler weather seems to have made everyone feel a little more human which has done wonders for the entire family.
