Thank you for all yesterdays birthday messages & stars & favs - you're a super kind bunch.

If I'm honest it's pretty rare that I plan a blip - but nowadays its also pretty rare that I don't have some sort of camera with me. So driving in to town to chair the AGM of the Climbing Wall Manufacturers Association (& yes it was as dull as it sounds) I had a suspicion that I might have a blip to hand - coming in from the north you pass what I've always known as the nursery fields - right next to a large farm's birthing barns - its a sure spot to see the new lambs of the year. But this year has been different - its been so miserably wet that they've been kept indoors far later than usual - so no cute little jackets this year - it's like they've arrived fully ready to gambol around. Add that to easily one of the nicest days of 2016 & it was about as close to a Blip plan as I've ever been.
