A bit of a tit

A mixed weather day, and a mixed day all round.  Early meeting with the heating chap and his mason to discuss options for the chimney that needs to be installed to replace the one we took down very recently.  Finally a decision was made (in spite of the mason's clear reluctance to have any involvement in carrying bricks up to the second floor...)

Later, shopping with TallGirl to find a solution for her sick fish who, turns out, probably doesn't have the incredibly rare fish cancer she found on the internet, but rather a very ordinary bacterial infection.  Not that that made her clean the tank and actually put the medicine in: rather she just kept on asking for a bigger tank (which is, I suppose, one way to get a clean tank).

Mr B had an exam this afternoon (passed) during which (banned from the internet) I had a good session with the plant books planning the grassy knoll.  And he cooked dinner again; lamb with cauliflower cheese, special rice and pil pil prawns (with approximately 10 times the number of chillies as would have been appropriate....)

More outnumbered and an early night planned.  Day out tomorrow, probably.
