Morning Light

The pattern of glorious early mornings continued today (& sure enough the afternoon became dull & grey) - which suited me fine as I'd a busy day of odds & ends to get done - carpet cleaning man, moving furniture back where it should be, meeting a potential new employer - I knew all of these would eat into my day - so me & pooch headed out on the nicely frozen ground straight after breakfast. The thermometer said -6degC - but the same as yesterday - the suns first rays melted the frost clear away & it actually felt rather warm - it was great to need the sunnies too!

Back just as the carpet man arrived the rest of the day was a blur - but all good & looks like I'll be picking up some more UK guiding work too - so hopefully even more days on the fells!
