Back to Baleshare

Many is the time - too many I hear you say - that I have written about Baleshare and its eroding remains. Today whilst on the dunes above the beach Tricia found this bit of two thousand year old pottery. Patterned pieces are relatively rare and I'd never seen one quite like this before.
Not quite as impressive as the bone comb another friend found in the same place last year, this shard's sheer antiquity rather pulls one up.
