(Not So) Porto Belo, Brazil

Once again, the best laid plans ...

We were scheduled for a special cocktail party this afternoon, for repeat cruisers.  It was supposed to be held on the bow of the ship, a place normally forbidden to passengers, and I was really looking forward to taking photographs from there.  However, the weather decided not to cooperate at all.  The clouds began to thicken about an hour before the specified time, then they began to lower and darken dramatically ... sheets of rain moved in, followed by stabs of lightning and great rumbles of thunder.  Needless to say, the party was moved indoors.  Well at the very least, it all made for a very dramatic weather photo.

This morning, we took the tender in to the town of Porto Belo, very pretty, very, very crowded with beach goers, very colourful, and very, very hot!  We wandered around for a little while, and then decided we'd had enough heat and crowds, and headed back to the ship.
