Up up and away

This is what I saw for most of the day - clouds, clouds and more clouds, with the odd break over Eastern Europe, like this shot, though once we hit the Middle East the skies were clear and we could see the lights of Baghdad and Bahrain and the fires from oil drilling very clearly indeed. Very pleasant flight, and as I was flying Emirates plenty of entertainment. Unfortunately the system crashed at one point and needed to be reset twice, so it was down for 30 minutes, but at least that meant we all talked to each other a little! Not entirely sure of the time issue as it relates to Blip, but will work with local times wherever I was, so at the end of the day I was still in the sky enroute to Dubai.
