It's the Harbour, Darling....

We abandoned the 'Mad House' (daughter's residence) for the sanctity of a hotel on Darling Harbour for a special celebratory evening before a birthday party the following day back at the asylum. It was my daughter's idea, I think she was just trying to squander her inheritance. Never before have I spent so much for so little! OK, so the hotel room had a marvellous view and the Chinese food was tasty albeit sparse. An evening of strolling around the delightful harbour area and having a drinky or two in the pretty little bars was terminated when the temperature dropped to around 10c, the wind got up and the rain came down. Ah, Summer in Sydney!
