The Estuary

I made myself try a landscape/seascape today - it is something I don't do well and tend to avoid.

It was beautitful early this morning at the Estuary. The tide was coming in and with no wind, the water was very still, except where  birds  created ripples. In the top right distance, you can just see part of our Mountain - Mt Arthur. When winter gets closer, it will wear a snowy cap.

There were quite a variety of birds - spoonbills, pied stilts, black swans, ducks, terns, seagulls and herons to name a few. I might have to come back tomorrow to photograph some of them.
