Pullman Car Barbara on the KESR

This shot should be for tomorrow, in tribute to my mother Barbara who died in 2003 and can't experience Mother's Day any more. But she lives on and we'll drink a toast to her tomorrow.

I was at KESR for the annual Signalman's meeting which was supposed to finish at 1.00pm but didn't end until gone 20 to 2 as some people love the sound of their own voice.

A quick lunch and a fleeting visit to town quickly accounted for the afternoon. Dinner was cooking away on the oven timer when we arrived home and there was just time to eat it before setting off to Tunbridge Wells to see Keston Cobblers Club at the Forum. They were preceded by the Worry Dolls who were also very good.

A standing venue, The Forum was an interesting place but we had an excellent night out listening to some really original multi talented musicians playing a diverse range  of instruments including a trumpet and tuba. Check them out.
