Conference

Clearly this is not the most exciting photo but this has been my view for the last couple of days. The pic is of David Miller, Head of Marketing at the University of Exeter just about to present his observations on brand and marketing in HE. It was a fascinating talk as David use to work at Saatchi & Saatchi and Ogilvy & Mather and it was probably my favourite talk of the conference due to my marketing background. I do wonder if I look back at this photo in ten years time how much the format of conferences may have changed. We they still be dominated by PowerPoint in a lecture format?

This was my first AMOSSHE Conference and it's been fantastic. I've made some great new contacts, learnt loads and cant wait for next year.
