Up in Smoke
Having escaped the North before the bands had a chance to tune up, our first proper day in Dublin had to start at the No Grants Gallery to see Up in Smoke in the flesh. Jesus but it's good. Great big prints. Still can't decide which was better: seeing the photos or meeting Pepé.
Popped into some other place to see some other, lesser photographer's photos. Quite nice. Not as big as Nic's but the place did have a gallery for sly snapping.
Later we entertained the bairns by taking them to the Natural History Museum. Great place. Just like a museum should be: crammed floor to ceiling with corpses. None of your informative, entertaining interactive experiences. Oh no. Just glass cases full of dead things. Enough to make a wee lassie greet at the cute deadness of them all.
Later it was out to Mulligan's to meet some gobshite photographer who just couldn't stop clicking. Made me sit at the bar just so he could keep snapping the barman. Weirdo.
