They're everywhere!
You can't get away from cycling in this house just now!! Husbands cycling tops on the line rather than his bedside light. monumental day on Le Tour. High mountain with the sprinter Cavendish leading his team up most of it. Very very impressive. Fantastic fifteen minute breakaway by eleven riders Peter Sagan proved at 22 that he will win the tour one day. His sprinting was well known but his climbing today was magnificent and his descending truly terrifying but awe inspiring. Louis Sanches broke away from the breakaway and had a truly deserved win. Five of his Rabobank team have already had to retire through injury and there are only four of them left. Well done that man!! Chaos behind in the main peloton when at the top of the mountain some "person" threw tacks onto the road leading to thirty punctures and a broken collar bone. Evans was left a minute behind cos the support cars couldn't get to him to give him a new tyre. Wiggins stopped the racing and held the peloton at a canter to let him rejoin. Sometimes you just have to be proud. In the midst of chaos he rose to the occasion and held the moral high ground. Yah!! The police have been asked by Le Tour organisers to investigate. Someone could have been killed. I had a great day today. Lovely communications with Shelley which made me happy. Even if Mike has very questionable taste in football teams.
