A cool, dull day and we decided to head inland rather than to the coast. When I was young we had family days out at Bolam Lake and it's so long since I was there I couldn't remember what it looked like. 

From there we walked to Shaftoe Crags and on the way back spotted these sheep who stopped feeding to pose for the camera. 

The cafe was open when we got back to the car park so we had a takeaway cuppa while watching the local birds.
