After yesterday's blip excitement, I was rather short of blipping opportunities today. I've been at home editing Venice pictures (yes, not finished yet).

Liz came to see Mum this afternoon and Margret popped in later on. Mum had a better night and has not coughed as much today. Progress indeed if too slow for her.

After we had eaten our evening meal, Bowlby decided to lie on one of the kitchen surfaces. Our cats have never been allowed up here, but both of them have recently decided that their advanced age (nearly 17) allows them latitude. It's the first time in all these years I've had to be wary in case they sample food.

So, we don't encourage this behaviour, but they are winning. Who could resist the gentle, healing touch of a feline, who know that someone has a weak hand?
