Packing, packing, packing

It's begun in earnest.... all the bags came out today to pack everything up ready for the flight back to England this weekend.  To completely confuse and complicate everything, the leg to J'burg allows a 30kg baggage limit per person, including the boy (despite him not having a seat.  But for the J'burg to London route, we have 2x23kg for Dirk and I, plus 1 x 23kg for the boy - with bags not to exceed 23kg.  So that's a conundrum... and by our working out, an additional bag to London will be 20GBP, but an additional bag to J'burg will be about 100GBP....  So the next task is to visit the airline offices in town and triple check the baggage allowance, and then cull as necessary.  No doubt when we are next here, we won't have a clue what got left.  There's already a great big bag of clothes etc for the staff.  Becki Thembre looked delighted when I gave him two old Nokia handsets this afternoon.
